Mississippi auctioneers from across the state, along with family members and friends, gathered at Trustmark Park on Friday, August 19 for a Summer Social to enjoy networking, good food, free ice cream, baseball and fireworks.

MAA members gathered for a short meeting and good food at Farm Bureau Grill discussing this year’s accomplishments, membership, benefits, bid calling competitions, education opportunities, conference and more. Afterwards the group headed over to the stadium to watch MAA Past President William L. Head throw the first pitch as the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s Pink Tie Guy. The Mississippi Braves took on the Pensacola Blue Wahoos but ultimately lost the battle in a tight game, 2-1. The evening ended with a fun display of fireworks.
